Default The Buck who got away..

I chased this buck hard all season this year.. but he was nothing but a ghost. He left sign and tracks nearly everyday I hunted him but I just couldn't get him to make a mistake and move during daylight.

I had 1 encounter with him.. and he showed up just after daylight expired in early November. I had him at just over 20 yards.. but it was just too dark and I didn't even pick up my bow.[:@]

He's not huge by any means.. about 140" maybe a few inches more.. really good mass. Today I was able to pick up his sheds not more than 100 yards from our encounter..

Can't wait til next year.

Dude, that is sweet! I guess if you can't get the job done, his sheds are the next best thing....You'll get him next year bro.....And he'll be even better!

Congrats man....great find! And just think......he'll have more mass next year.

But then again, after this weekend, who cares about 140+" bucks....bring on the 200"ers.[8D]
