I had the craziest thing happen to me about 8 years ago. I use to hunt this private property that butted up against a piece of union owned property that I use to slip into once in a while. Don't tell..I was young and dumb and the area held some monsters.....anways...

I was hunting late archery one night...in a tree...in full snow camo....I heard the normal sounds a deer makes when entering...my heart pounded...and out of the swamp came a HOBO...I S&&T you not...an old grizzly looking man with a nap sack...and a sleeping bag tied to his waste was walking right at me...He was walking very fast and almost seemed like he was in a panic...When he reached the base of my tree at 3 yards I said "hey"...I scared the day lights out of him.....and the maniac took off running like a freak...I'll never forget the night the HOBO went past my stand....Seriously guys...this dude was dirty and living outside for days...and I was hunting out in the country...NO...not in the inner city...LOL....crazy!

The craziest thing I ever saw when I was Bow Hunting was a Bobcat chasing a Deer through the woods,the Doe ran about 50 yards in front of me and up past my stand and walked into asmall Lakeand swam across it to get away from the Bobcat!

Last year 2 friends of mine were fishing in a big Lake and they heard something running through the woods,when suddenly a big 8-Point Buck jumped into the water and swam right past their boat then got out on the other side and crashed through the small tree's along the bank and stumbled out of sight!They figured a Coyote or Bobcat was chasing that Buck too.

Awesome....I bet that bucks eyes were bugged out...he had an agenda...and getting the H_LL out of dodge was his task...

LOL thats a great story, my craziest story is one time i fell asleep while bow hunting, but woke up after about 10 minz to find 6 bucks eating under my stand( 2 spikes,2 4 pointers, a small 5 point,) and a nice 8 pointer walking away from me that i couldent get a shot at.

This didnt happen to me but my brother said when he was hunting over one of our food plots, a few small does and a mature momma came out. They were eating and what not and all of a suddena bobcat came out. The big momma took off after it and just about beat the crap out of it. The cat took off like a bat outta hell! Dont mess with a momma and her babies! haha

One day when I was 16 I was making a slow walk with a long bow....a doe jumped up at 20 yards and I shot over her back on a dead run....right as my arrow flew over her back a partridge flew out of the grass and drilled the doe in the chest.....it was crazy!!

Had a squirell that wanted to mate with my rabbir fur hat, while I was on stand. Stupid thing got about two feet away before I hissed at him to get away. He still didnt go far, just down the tree abit. I was afraid I was gonna have to shishkabob him[&:]. This was my first year bowhunting!

OK I have a good one...it was opening moring of bow season in '06...I was sitting in the stand enjoying the sunrise when I noticed something coming around the bill of my hat....You'll never guess what it was...A TRANTULA!!! was on top of my head...well needless to say I bout fell out of the tree and gave a less than manly shriek...didnt see a deer after that either[&:]

Haven't had much crazy happen to me, but this is a story I grew up hearing that always made me laugh...

One day, some years before I was born, my dad was hunting afield that borders a highway. Now, it was early archery season which, here in Washington, falls during road repair season. Apparently the stand that my dad happened to be hunting that day was only 50 - 75 yards from the highway. All afternoon he had watched a procession of road workers move their way slowly towards where he was hunting. As the workers pulled ahead of his position, the last truck pulled over and stopped. A woman he guessed to be in her late twenties or early thirties got out of the truck and scrambled towards his tree. Not knowing he was there, she proceeded directly beneath his tree, which was one of the only trees in a small field, dropped trou', and popped a squat to pee.

She finished her business and scrambled back to her truck to catch up with the rest of her crew. He says that he was half tempted to drop a pinecone on her head or say "Hey!" real loud, but figured he didn't want to scare her too bad.

Still makes me laugh.

#1 I was hunting in washington state when I saw this doe and her male fawn come walking down an old road... the stopped 10 yards in front of me and the fawn mounted her lol. I walked right up to them as they watched me and I reached out andslappedthe does ass...it was pretty cool to see how high she jumped. then after that the little fawn tried charging me like a bull.

#2 Had a squirrel sit on my knee for about 3 minutes this huntingseason while there was a nice 2 1/ year old 8point in front of me that I couldnt get a shot at because I knew the squrril would freak out and spook the deer.
