Just wondering if anyone here hunts in greene county Il. My gf family is from whitehall, roodhouse and i have permission to hunt. I did not realize how close to pike county green was until looking at the map of illinois counties.

Don't hunt it, but have seen Greene Co. come up in some big buck profiles etc.....think a few years back a monster came out of there in IL.....it was in IL Game n Fish I believe. If it's between the IL and Mississippi rivers, it should be awesome.

I hunt Calhoun Co, just across the Illinois River from Greene. Amazing hunting up that way, if you don't want to make the trip, I will be more than happy to take your place.

I hunt out east of Carrolton on my in-law's ground. GreeneCounty has some great deer.

I hunt Jersey County, just South of Greene. I know a bunch of guys that hunt Greene, some great deer come out of there every year.

My taxi buddy has mounted some monsters that were killed in Greene Co.

I hunt 5 miles from Greene Co.

Some whoopers for sure..........
