I dont need anything on my bow that isnt necessary while hunting. I practice and hunt with it off.

I keep mine on---I shoot with it on all year so I am used to it. I hang my bow on the left side of the tree and have no front rest on my climber...I don't hit anything with my bow as I move it.

I take the quiver off if im in my climber. I keep a spare bracket on the side of the stand to hold it. Its just easier to manipulate the bow without it on. If I'm in a stand without a spare bracket, I may strap the quiver to the tree but I'm finding lately that I've just been leaving it on.

To me its pointless taking it off, mine's on 24/7! Sooner or later someone's going to miss a chance at a big buck being there quiver is out of reach when the big guys too close to be moving!!

I practice with mine off so it stays off while on stand. Just more comfortable for me.

I practice with it off, so when I shoot I want it off, also if you practice with it on? and its full of 4 arrows? then 3....then 2 then 1 then none? everytime I shoot with it off, I have the same exact set up. I think I want the best groups/most consitent shot each time I shoot, so with a quiver on there, I'm not going to shoot with with 3 arrows in there, then walk down and grab 1 arrow and redo this.....you shoot 4 arrows, with 4 different bow set ups, I dont like how that sounds. If I had to take a shot with it on, i would, but that's unlikely, stil lhaven't found a leg quiver I like or some place to put the quiver, i just detach mine and lay it down, or on a hook in the tree etc....

Let's be serious. How much do your arrows weigh? Let's say the average arrow weighs 400 grains. That equals .91 oz. SO, a quiver full of 4 arrows, not counting the few ounces that a quality two piece quiver weighs, equals 3.64 ounces. Do you seriously beleive that removing one arrow at a time that you, or anyone else, could feel the difference in how much their bow weighs after removing, one more arrow? Heck, even if I removed all 4 arrows at once, I'd bet most guys couldn't/wouldn't feel the difference it total bow weight.
I shoot groups all the time, and I don't see my POI shifting from the first arrow to the last.
It's all in your head that POI is going to shift each time an arrow is removed from a quiver.[8D]
Worst case with the quiver on all the time, is shooting in the wind! That is when having the extra mass on the bowhasa detrimental effect.

RE: Leave the quiver on or take it off?

I take mine off because it weighs a lil more, not to much more but still enough to throw me off a lil bit...
