Any HVAC guys on here?

RE: Any HVAC guys on here?
Thanks Dura. I'm sure I'm showing my lack of knowledge on this subject by using the term furnace where I should be saying boiler. Right now I have straight forced hot air (furnace), and a elec. hot water heater. I'm thinking I might want to go with a system that would enable me to do forced hot air, but also be able to do my hot water, and possibly a zone or two of BB heat (boiler?) With this type of system, if its possible, I figured I could get a airhandler that would be able to have cooling coils in it and solve my central a.c.(lack of) problem as well(would need condenser outside, I know). This would probably be some sort of hydro air system right?

What you would need is a boiler, an indirect hot water heater, hydro air handler (have the refer coil in them) and the condenser. Depending on how your house is set up you could break the house into zones with a couple air handlers. This could also be set up with baseboard if you needed for an addition (much easier to run pipes than vent ducts). This system would also take care of you hot water (electric is mighty pricey to operate).
