When you take aim...

Never gave much attention to it while hunting or just practicingbut now that I am in an indoor league I have. Whats in focus, your pin or your target? They cant both be in perfect focus. I try to get my pin close and then focus on the bullseye so my pin is slightly blurry. Is this the proper way to do it? Deer seem so much easier than those dang Xs

I usualy bounce back and fourth until everything is lined up perfect then like said before pick the spot you want to hit and focus on it. Thats what I consider the best method but the great thing about archery you can play around with it and find what works best for you.

I've wondered this same thing subliminally. I think I've actually got into the bad habit of focusing on my pin to combat the halo(fuzziness) that forms obscuring the target at longer distances. I'll have to think about this when shooting now. Thanks for the tip.
