Free ground is always better than ground you have to pay for, especially if it holds deer.....Congrats man, I look forward to hearing what it holds.

That does sound like a great opportunity. Let's see some aerials!

Land envy I say...congrats and it would be sweet if you got the 11 to put a cabin on as long as you allways have the land to hunt on.....pics please...

Matt:

I'm not sure of how to print the property lines.....but if you can imagine a diagonal swath cut through this from lower left to upper right.....encompassing all three fields in there and all the woods.

I wish I could add the lines.....but let's just say I have a pretty good idea that I can hunt everything in this photo and likely more.

Wow, looks fantastic. How flat is it? Any topo features to make them walk in certain areas?

Yes, you do your topo program and save it (I use TopoUSA). Then you use the add image overlay feature in GoogleEarth. Once you get the overlay in there you have to play with the magnification a bit to get them to match up, but you can get it just about dead on with a little adjusting.

That looks like a sweet piece of land. Get out there and get some seed and lyme. You're gonna be busy.
