I'm trying to find the place that opens first in the country... I'd like to get in on some action before April 6th in Oklahoma if possible. I know that South Texas opens on the 15th of March anyone else have a fairly early opener?

Florida March 15

Alabama is March 15 also for most of the state.

Mississippi is March 15

Nebraska's archery seasonopens up on March 25th. Hopefully I'll be able to test out my new Magnus Bullhead on opening day.

My Mom and Dad's anniversary...lol Thats gotta suck for my dad. You would have thought he would have known to pick a date around hunting season!

Um, Dub- Arkansas has turkey season open until Feb 29th lets go!!!!

I hope to be heading out within a couple of days of the opener. I will play it by ear and itwill more than likely depend on the weather. The Merriams do seem to endure whatever weather is thrown at them though.
