Default scent lok?

I am interested in purchasing some scent lok apparel. I remember the old green liners (classic) and was looking at them so that I could wear it during all seasons. All I can find is the "base layers". Is this the same thing? Also, is there any difference between the camo and black and are these base layers intended to be form fitting?

Thanks in advance and i welcome any suggestions and recommendations on this topic.

I think its the same thing. Also that is the smartest way to go cuz i bought the scent lok savanna, but if i ever wear it out then i have to buy all new but if i would have bought the base layers then all i would have to replace is the outer layer of camo. I learned the hard way.

It is NOT the same thing. The baseslayers are more like long underwear, to be worn as a base layer. Savanna is exactly the same thing as the green classic, except it's camo. Otherwise, same stuff exactly, which is why ScentLok doesn't make the liner anymore.

The savanna has got the green layer on the inside and then it has another layer of camo on the outside. it has two diffrent layers cuz if you grab the inside and the outside you can pull the two layers apart. What i ment was that the green liner and the base layers are the same thing only just diffrent colors. (base layers are black I think).

Savanna is also very light wieght (less carbon) than the original. In early season I use the savannah as my outer layer and in cold weather it goes over my base layers and then gets a windproof/waterproof outer layer.

Well, I sent a scent lok representative an email, and the response I got from him was that other than the savannah being camo, they are the same thing. I'm just repeating the info I got from scentlok.

the baseslayers are a different garment alltogether. They are not the same thing.

They don't seem the same to me and I'd hope they weren't. Washing kills the garment and I'd think the base layers would be dead very quickly from the washings they'd require.

Too pricey for me, plenty of quality undergarments out there that I'd pick first. Ones that washing wouldn't affect.

I only washed my scentlok once this year. Worked fine. Got busted once hunting in the same area as a pack of Mennonites. Found myself with a permanent head shaking affliction for a while.

Scent Blocker makes the XLT Underguard. It comes in Black and Camo. I used the Black last year and hope to pick up some Camo this year. In the Double Bull in early season the Black XLT worked out great

I have the older version of scentlok's one piece jump suit and love it. It's about 5-6 years old and I bought it with the headset. It works great as I have had many deer pass within a few yards of my tree or stop to eat underneath me. I will say that I am very mathodical in my scent preperation / washing, and play the wind to my favor. The new Savanna is the "new and improved" replacement for my suit and appears to be close, but I like the outlayer of my original suit better. As far as the abuse the original suit takes, imagine me as a Monkey climbing many-a-tree throughout the season and I also use it to scout closer to the begining of the season. I also have stocked to within 20 yards of a big doe with snow covering the ground. I believe in it, plus the pull over jump suit is very user friendly.
