Default Hunter Saftey System?

I got one for Christmas and i wear it every time i get in a tree and i have noticed that since i am right handed i cant shoot to my right (if i was left handed it would be the opposite) because of the tether strap is in the way for me too draw. How can i fix this, am i doing something wrong? I dont think that it is worth it to not wear it just because i cant shoot to my right.

I set my tree attatchment strap lower approx. in lower half of my back areathis makes some slack to turn or shoot. But manufacturer recommends putting strap higher to lessen fall distance.

Here is your quick fix, it works great. Get one of summits prussic knot teathers and do away with the HSS teather, it gives you a little more room to draw, trust me it works great.
