I have a couple of double ladder stands with a full rail around me, waist high. You would have to jump out to fall out. I don't wear one there but all the other stands especially hang-ons I wear one, first thing I do.

I have three children. It's the least I can do to wear a harness. I used to think about protecting me, now I see it as protecting the father of my children. It's just not worth the risk not to, especially since the Hunter Safety System and othersare so darn easy to use.

I can't believe there are still people that don't. Mine has saved me a few times over the years. It happens quick....before you know it you're dangling and you're looking for a fresh pair of skiveys....good luck to those who choose to ROLL THE DICE!

Always when I'm on my Hang-on. But, when I'm on the ladder stand of my father, at 12 feets, I'mnot takingmy harness

Nope, don't use one. I have fixed stands, don't use a climber.

You can get away with not using one a hundred times, but it only takes ONE FALL to paralize you forever.

ALWAYS USE A HARNESS!!
