Dispute on new land. Need to Vent.

Well I am going over to the landowner's this weekend to look at another 40 acres he is going to let me hunt on.
I initally was going to let my BIL hunt on it with me but my parents called me last night and they said I should of asked my brother instead of my BIL.
I am considering just letting no one hunt on but just me cause I did the work of asking him. I also hunt on another 40 acres of his but probably 3/4 of it is field with a strip of woods on the side in which it is a funnel during the rut.
I know if I don't let anyone hunt it with me I will hear about it all the time but on the other side if I ask just one of them I will hear it from the other. What should I do?

Seems like your brother would be the obvious answer, unless you owe it to your BIL for getting you on land elsewhere...

First off, your BIL should have never asked, He should have waited till he was invited. Second, 40 acres is just about the right size for another person to screw your hunting up for you. They would both be looking for a place to hunt if it was me. Hell, my wife hunts with me, her stands are about a mile from mine and she lets me have sex with her!
Hope you work things out without causing a stink, good luck.

I know how frustrating all of this can be. Eveer since I bought my farm "friends" have been coming out of the wood work to ask me if they can hunt. I decided to not let anyone except my dad hunt it. Probabky fair since I hunt his 2 farms
My wife hunts it too but she is co-owner so it is not like I could tell her no.
If I were you, I would do what you wanted to and tell anyone who has a problem with it to go pound sand. As you said, you did all the work.
