Photo contest, Thanks!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who voted for the photo of my sons buck.
It was amazing how many great photos were entered here on Huntingnet! And all the friendly comments makes this one of the nicest archery sites on the web!
Just to let you know it was a sunrise and not a sunset He had shot it the evening before
and wasn't sure about the shot so we let him lay over night. There were so many coyotes and other hunters in the area that we decided to sleep right there at the stand that night. We found
him at first light only about 60 yds away, he had in fact made a perfect shot. The sun was coming up and there was fog in the valley
along with the years first frost. I was happy to be able to capture that moment that's for sure, what a glorious morning!
Thanks again, I'm a proud dad and he's one happy 19 year old!
What's cool is that it was a buck we knew well and had three years of trail camarea photos from also. He'd actually passed him up the year before and I thought he was crazy!
It was a do it yourself hunt also, and all it costed wasthe price of the tag. That in it's self made itall themore rewarding for him.
Good luck to you all this coming season!

Thanks again guys.
And no we didn't sleep in the stand, we were on the ground below it. We just didn't want the coyotes or other hunter to find it, besides that we didn't get much "sleep" that night anyways!
2007 was a very memorable year for us, the best moment being my 8 yr old taking his first deer with his bow! And I was able to catch it all on video from the blind!
