I used to leave my ladders out all year but they like to rust over the winter. The next season they were load as hell!![:@] So we take them every year and put back up. We are thinking of useing lock on's with sticks but me and my hunter partner are both in the 275lb+ club and not sure what lock-on we are going to use.

We leave em year round, usualy spring, summer, early fall, may put a new one or two out, may move some in the fall, kinda whenever, we lock all of our stands, sure if they want'ed them they could get them, but it is a deterrance.

To tell you the truth, we leave our stands up year round because we have over 160 stands and it would be too much of a hassle to pull them, then go hang them in a couple months
