i returned from wally world tonite with these two scent blocker bags.i was assuming that i could put hunting clothes in them to keep odors off.the whole bag is nothing more than a waterproof nylon shell.was just wondering if they will serve this purpose or not.either way it's no big deal cause i only paid 2 dollars ea. thanks for the help in this matter.

I think they're nothing more than a glorified trash bag!! It's just a trash bag with a zipper so they can call it "scent lock". Throw some leaves and dirt and natural junk into a big ole trash bag and mix em around.

Genesis 27:3 Now then, get your weapons-your quiver and bow-and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

They should serve the purpose.
Personally I started washing all my hunting clothes with Purex free&clear ,completely unscented laundry detergent(found it had less odor than even H.S. and much less $)and put them in a scuba diving nylon bag.The dive bag works good for scent control because its made to be completely waterproof(zippers and seams are excellent),it has many compartments seperated for wet or dry storage (which can come in handy),and has a great compartment for wet fins(that I use for rubber boots-mud and all)on the bottom .I picked up the bag for $20 and Purex for about$ 2.50 per 1/2 gallon.

I keep my carbon clothing in 2 large garbage bags. Works fine.

As far as scentblocking, they're worthless. I had called them once for something else and commented on the deceptive packaging and they didn't feel that was the case.

3D dad I did the same thing last year. I thought I found a good deal, but when I opened them, I discovered the same thing you did. I use mine for dirty clothes when I go hunting.
