Toughest Arrows for Hunting?
#1
I'm currently shooting Maxima 350's, for target/deer hunting. The Maxima's are a great arrow (very accurate), but they aren't the most durable arrows ever made.
(I havebrokenthree out of my dozen. One arrow broke in a deer, and the other 2 broke when I missed my BLOCK target.[:'(]) So......does anybody have any suggestions?
P.S. Where I hunt there arealot of boulders.
P.S.S. I really don't want to spend over $120

I am not sure if there is an arrow that can stand up to a boulder, but I have always found Gold Tips to be very durable. Plus, they are well within your price.

Probably the most durable arrow going is the Easton Axis. Their thick wall makes them very strong. I still say the CX maxima hunter is a better arrow overall though, straighter and more consistent spine...

Carbon Express terminator selects are the most durableI have tested in cinder blocks. They very seldom break. I have tested Gold Tips, Bemans, Easton Axis, Easton ACC,and a few others.
I you wanted to spend $200 Carbon Express is making the aramid this year which is a carbon and kevlar blend. That should prove to be nearly indestructable.

im iwth bigbulls....i havent seen nothing compare to the carbon composite terminators i personally shoot the XP selects....they are THE perfect hunting arrow IMO as of this moment in time...subject to change...but they got the weight, but arent OVERLY heavy...perfect deer arrows IMO..400-450gr complete...tolerances are hard to match for the price...and i havent broke one....ive watch GTs and Easton carbons break...had my own eastons break and done worse things to the terminators...just real happy with them...aint bullet proof, but if you break them, your likely to broke or damaged most any arrow...
man BB, i might have to check them out....if they spine is good and STAYS good, they aughta last a lifetime....but not if the spine goes bad like pure carbons....

I shoot the Easton Epics. I shot a tree...instead of the deer.... The arrow slammed into the tree from 25 yeards away and stuck there. I thought i had ruined the arrow, but no, it was fine. The Epics are pretty affordable too...I like them a lot.
