Distance is a definite variable. You also have to consider sight parallax. If your pin is closerto or further from your arrow than mine is, yourpoint of impactwill different than mine. As a point of reference, the distance from my 20 yard pin to center of the arrow is 3 1/2".
OHHH

So I have a question

If same shooter shoots same bow. Once with sight close, other with it away. He will get different results.

Site furthest away(from the shooter)will be less off target the than the site closer(to shooter)?

If you think about it, when you cant your bow, the sight pins move up and to the right,
Actually....they move DOWN and to the right.

Not really............... hold your bow hand infront of you and pretend to cant your bow to the right....... where does your index finger knuckle go?

Up and to the right.

Well what have we learned?:D
Worrying too much about your form is over-rated if your bow is tuned properly

A decentand helpful "bowhunting" thread was shot all to hell and ruined,

Greg:

Not gonna argue with you. You said pins. Pins go down. If they went up you'd impact higher.

Gospel.

When you (atlasman) canted the bow, did you stand vertical,or did youcant your head/body at the same angle as the bow? Don't know if it's been asked.

If you moved your 20 yard pin up and then shot where would you hit?

Nope. My sight is right up against the riser, not on a long extension. That'll make yet another difference.

If the pin goes up the POI goes down.
