Default A Quiksilver moment....

I got and idea...

I was reading something somewhere about how bows are actually simple in "technology" terms. Ok why not change that? And ive got the idea...here goes.

A cam system that is loaded by tension with very little effort. Someway, somehow, idk spring loaded or something... just develop a cam system that you draw maybe 10lbs and it loads the cams to release at 100lbs? 600fps here we come...

Does the concept even make sense?

makes perfectly good sence to me, im sure it would be relatively simple for the right engineer to design something like that.

Would something like a torque multiplier work?

Along with a torque multiplier you'd have to install a henway.

should market it and make the millions yourself, won't see me giving away inventions to my best friends let alone you guys! haha.

In my state, you can't load a bow such as you can a crossbow, we don't allow crossbows here, and alot of places dont allow bows to be loaded so that they can be drawn and basically held without any forces, kinda like 100% letoff.

You would still hold like __lbs of force but then when you release it would activate the Camerator ©

Any design that is unessecessarily complex is a design failure in my eyes.

What happened to quik anyway...I've been hunting the last 3 months... Fran put his foot in his mouth and get the boot or something? I can't imagine a surfer being all that confrontational???
