My evaluation is also what I've been hearing. The 82nd draws smoother, less shock in my opinion and the noise, very close, perhaps slightly less in the 82nd. Again, IMO Both great bows but I chose the A82!
This was my experience also. The 82nd frlt better at the shot to me as was quieter. The difference in accuracy was nill for me.

RE: 82nd and 101st

I have been running the 82 through some paces (I have the right draw mods for it& on the 101 I am waiting for mods) At 20 yards my groups for me are excellent. Any difference from the groups I shot with the Allegiance? Not that I can tell!!:DI haven't tried the longer ranges but that will come as I walk back tune it. Noise wise and shock wise it is a very tame bow for the speeds it is generating. It again IMO does notcompare tothe Guardian or General in that area.I decided to set it at 28" draw because being a hair short IMO allows me still to get off a good shot when things are less than perfect (Steep uphill, steep downhill, twisted in a Treestand, etc.) and I am a hunter first and foremost. My Allegiance at60# 28"shot my CX Maximas at 296 fps, 301 fps at 28.5" where I shot it the most.

The Airborne 82 at60# 28"shoots the same CX Maxima at 308 fps That figures out to 68.69 pounds of KE out of a 60# bow:D

I'm not going to get all Mushy;)but I like and honestly I am looking forward to shooting the 101 and the 82 side by side.

MOhunter, I sure will!;)It's just that right now it's impossible to compare them fairly with one another. The 82 is set on 28" and the 101 is set at 29" The fit and finish are excellent on both. I also Love the Invelvet finish. I think that is a super nice touch:DMy 82 is in APG-HD and the 101 is in MO Brush!
