Default strongly thinking of getting the bowtech 82nd

I really like the way that bow looks, how do you guys feel about it, would you recommend it, and how much does the bow it self weigh?
Also how quite is the bow, does it need any silencing effects?

thnx

I can tell you my thoughts on this bow....after about 100 shots through it.

1. It's fast.
2. It's REALLY fast
3. It's heavier than the Ally (my '07)
4. The draw cycle on my 82nd at 62#'s is comparable to my Ally at closer to 70#'s.
5. I don't see a difference in forgiveness.
6. The invelvet finish is AWESOME!
7. More to come.........

Its so fast that it will tear a deer into two peices. I haven't shot it but everyone who shoots it likes it so it must be good.

Im not sure I would say super quiet? It's not the quitest bow out there and certaintly not the quietest Bowtech, but one thing for sure its FASTNow you add some goodies and you can quiet it down. The bottom line is if you want speed go get it!!

Personally, I could take it or leave it.

It's fast, but speed isn't everything. It isn't any more accurate than my Allegiance. In all honesty, I think they're kind of ugly. Can't tell you exactly what it is about them I don't like, but there's something...

The one thing I like about it over my Allegiance is the finish. That Invelvet is some cool stuff and I really think its the turning point in bow finishes.

I'm not jumping up and down over it.

Just my opinion on it.

Bowtech lists the 82nd at 4.2# The Invelvet finish this year is Awesome. The Bow is really fast. I have an 82 on order in APG-HD The guys I have talked to that traded up to the 82 this year have been very pleased.

Dan,
Are you sure you're talking about the 82nd??? It don't look hardly a bit different than an Allegiance except it may be a tiny bit more (beyond) parallel.
