He's huge but with the tag in the ear,. Probably a $15,000 buck doomed for a pen.
Rob, $15,000??? Don't kid yourself, his SPERM would have made more than that overa couple years. The pic is old, at least 2 yrs old, and he is a DANDY, but he's not a NATURAL WHITETAIL likewhat most of ushunt. That guy with the blindfoldpart of the MILKING team probably. He's a breeder, and a high dollar one at that. And the results may be more MONSTERS like him thatmake more $$$$$$. This is one of my big beefs with HF ranches and HF hunting, the deer are LIVESTOCK, and are often times not natural animals like what I chase around SE Ohio, and NW Ohio when I get a chance. Antler Envy??? Not really, I think they're neat to look at, but I know they are still LIVESTOCK, and very profitable ones at that!!!
True dat.

Big Duane, an exact example.

Very well put Ohio bowhunter. Does seem more than a little bit sad to think a buck like that doomed for the " high fence ". Every nuance pertaining to LIVESTOCK is present. If it walks like a duck, and......................

I got an e-mail with these pics in it, and it is apparently in a high-fence hunting ranch. Don't know if that particular buck was huntable though. I forget the exact amount, but they had a price on the buck.Seems to me it was around $250,000. Now this was an unsubstantaited e-mail mind you, so take it for what it's worth.
