I just wanted to share with you guys what we played at the last 3d shoot. We played poker. The way we played is that if you shot a 10 or 12 on a target you got to pick a card from the deck. Then in the end you play your best 5 cards. We kept jokers in the deck for wild cards(2). Now here is the fun part. We played with a group of 6 so the deck was gone after the first 20 targets. So after the deck runs out anyone that gets a 10 or 12 gets to pick from anyone's hand that they want that has 6 or more cards. If you only have 5 cards then noone can steal from you. You fan your cards out and shuffle them if you want then have them pick. Then at the end of the shoot you see who has the best 5 card poker hand. It was a blast. We played for money with a $1 buy in so the winner one $6. You can play just for fun, but I thought it was a good way to spice up a 3d shoot.

At the shoot the other day we played this and was so lucky that i got a Royal Flush with one joker. The problem is that is was on the first 20 targets and shortly after that the deck ran out so people kept stealing from me (Mo Bowhnter) so I wouldn't win. Anyway just something fun to give a try.

Now I'm glad I didn't get to shoot with you guys... that's too complicated for a simpleton like me...

Sounds like a good time to me! We may have to try that when the weather warms up here and we're not wading through two feet of snow.

Man I heard that! Shoot, I've got enough to think about.....Let alone what cards I'm holding...... Sounds like fun though.....

Speaking of snow... just got through watching the news and they said you guys up in St. Louis may get 10-12"... Cool.

I'm in Springfield Now and we are only supposed to get 6" but the drive home friday may after class may be exciting!

It's not that difficult you shoot you get a 10 or 12 you get to pick a card then move on to the next target.
