I have heard of guys burning off an old spring mattress, staking it in the ground, and then baiting it with corn. But don't be suprised if you don't get much from them, IMO you are better off walking. It's good excersise, and once you fiugure out all of the tricks, yes there are tricks, you will be finding more antlers than you know what to do with. Plus, you better make sure it's legal before you try it. Good luck.

A lot of guys use them. They can be made all sorts of ways.
Pour corn right on the edge of a fence. Do the same thing to a tree. Etc. Etc..
I wouldn't use anything like chicken wire or anything that a buck could get tangled in and die if their antlers aren't soft enough to come off.
