Default Anpther pledge for 2008 Hunting seasons

One thing I've been slack on in the past is......NOT taking my camera with me to the field on every hunt. I'm gonna do that, this year.

You guys who take quality field photos have inspired me. Kudos to you all. I'm gonna reach for the camera, more, and the bow, less, in 2008.

And when im there,I can hold the camera(video) for youwhile you reach for your bow... its a win win.

Youll just have to figure out how to upload a dvd onto a computer so we can post it, I have NO idea, ive racked my brain sincei got that camera.

Any way id love to get pics, but if i got a deer in range, the camera better be comfortable in my pocket.(unless its a buck at your place...then ill take pics to show you what you couldve had[:-])

GMMAT, You better start a single thread and compile all the pledges in one place. I'm losing track.

[ol][*]Hunt less[*]No hunt when Hot[*]No second shot til first recovered[*]Shoot less [*]Range is shorter [*]More pictures[/ol]
It's only January..and I probably missed a few....

They're all easily achieved. Most just require some discipline.

It's taken me a few years to realize some of this stuff. Funny thing is.....I'll probably have more fun.....and be no less successful.

I also want to kill LESS deer (personally). I suppose I could combine several by saying I want to take more favorable attempts in more favorable conditions. The less favorable spots I'm in.....I'll simply shoot with the camera.

I like the way your looking at it, there's always room for improvement weather I guys hunting 40 years or 3 years!

This is a good idea, when i took the boys to the woods yesterday, i had the camers but left it in the truck after my youngest sons first find, i had to go back and get it. you just never know what will happen, its good to have it at all times.

Sounds good to me. I've always been into photography, and even taught it for my student teaching assignment. I'm just now at a point where I can afford to get a DSLR and begin taking it more seriously. Plan is to get an 350D or 400D body, and spend the money on good glass. I can't wait to get into the field and take pictures. What kind of camera are you using?

I have been saying I should take my camera with me for 7 or 8 years now and it has made it to the tree exactly 0 times. Not surprizingly, my New Year's resolutions usually fizzle out by January 2nd.

Exactly what I plan on doing too, but I'd like to upgrade to a better camera.
