My rest is waiting at the house for me. My bow is rigged up.....except for a rest.
I am clueless as to how to get it to work (fall-away) and get the cord tied in, correctly.
So.......it's like having a new Porsche and you don't know how to drive a straight drive.

I've got one of those little "clamps" that you can use to attach the cord to your cable.....but I've never done it. I hope it comes with directions.
I ordered a whammy rest. I'll let you know what I think about it......AFTER I have someone who knows what they're doing set it up.

Jeff if you go on thier site theyshow youhow to set it up.I got one and love it.Very easy to set up.I tied mine in.Draw your bow,have someone mark the string at the bottom of your cable slide.let up and go 1 1/4 in down from that mark and tie it in.Put the allen wrench in the hole on the trigger pull down on the trigger pull rope semi tight.tighten set screw and you are ready to rock.Of course this is done after you mount and line up the rest.

Well since you went against myadvice and bought the Whammy anyway........you're on your own.
I'm sure I can figure it out enough to get it shooting, tonight. If not....I've got your phone number!

Somebody should do an instructional thread w/ pics on how to properly tie the dropaway cord into the downward moving cable.
I just used the clamp but I'd rather have the cord tied in. I'm assuming you just do a series of overhand knots on opposite sides of the string, similar to tying in a peep. But I've never actually done it.
Where's Greg/MO when we need him? Or Washington Hunter?
