Mods/admin - help a brotha out
 

I didn't know where in the heck to put this, so I figured I'd just put it here...


As a lot of y'all know, I'm studying for the February '08 PA Bar Exam. Everything is going good,but I'm down to the one-month warning. So, I have a favor to ask:

This site has become a major source of my internet-based entertainment, and as such, it has also become a thorn in my side b/c I keep procrastinating and screwing around on here when I should have my face jammed in an evidence book.

So here's what I need: A 30 day ban. Actually, (if we're getting technical) I will be ready to return to the forums on 2/27/08 at 4:30 p.m.

If you can, I want the type of ban where I won't even be able to view the forums orread the threads at all - from either of the 2 I.P. addresses that I usuallyuse to log in(home and work). I want the Pete Rose ban. The Queen Mother of all bans. But only until the end of February...

I've failed the PA bar two times in a row by less than 1.5% each time. That sucks. So, I figure if I can eliminate the procrastinating - even if it's only 20 minutes a day - that will be the difference between me passing and me failing.

Can we do that? Can we block access to the site altogether for aclosed time period? That would really help a brutha out.

I know y'all are asking yourselves:

If you guys take care of me byaccommodating such a bizarre request,and I get my license- there'll be a Cabela's gift card in it for ya. ;)

If I were you, I'd seek Davidmil's advice in this matter.;)I believe he may be able to "guide you" with some pointers that just may indeed land you with a 30 day sentence.:)

you could block yourself under internet options. But that would require will power on your part to not go fix it.:D

I would have no problem banning you from posting, I might even remember to re-instate you... ;)

I cannot keep you from viewing the site, unless I head over there and poke your eyes out and I don't think that would help you with the Bar exam.
