Germ, you wont even be close to 270 with that setup. You'll be in the 250's. I'd say.

I just joined the Bowtech wagon so i guess i can speak on there behalf...?lol But i wouldnt say Bowtech "shooters" are anywhere as cocky as Matthews "shooter". Strong stereotype there, I just think bout that commercial... "Best tip of all... shoot a Matthews!" :eek:lol

That and "if in doubt subtract 2 yards". Or atleast my best tip :D. For normal people it's ADD 2 yds. For me its subtract two, isn't that right Aaron :D

Germ ran it thriugh the speed calculator that has been pretty accurate for most and came up with 268 fps with nothing on the string and 265 with 10gn on the string. As far as KE 85.5 and 83.1 respectively.

OK

Back on Topic;)

Mobo thx for the valley info, I forgot to ask. I like a forgiving valley. ROSS has a little "mush" to theirs. I like that.
Well mobo I am going to have to shoot one

536 Grain Arrow
28'' Draw
70 lbs

I may go lighter if it is that fast[8D]

Germ, good Lord buddy that's a heavy arrow....:D :D I'm really guessing here, I'll try to make up a 500+ grain arrow when ours comes in if you want, but I think you'll be in the.......upper 280 range.....Don't think you'll hit 290 though, not w/ that heavy ass arrow.....good grief man, you trying to make up for lack of something else?? :D

I honestly believe these bows are engineered for the 28 and 29" draw. That just seems to be where they are at their absolute best. Speaking of the valley, it's ROCK solid. NO slop at all. Like I said, hang on to her, cause if you creep, it rocks. Period.

Wanna bet? ;) On a 29" draw, it was shooting a 430 something grain arrow WELL into the 300's......3teens, if memory serves me correctly.

I'll gladly bet that he won't do 270 with a loaded string, 536gr,28", and #70.
