Aaron you tied for 7th and got 8th due to the guy in front of you getting more 12's.

As a side note....the guy who finished 11th is a local guy, here, who's won SEVERAL indoor tournaments at my club. Outdoors.....no known yardages.....uphill/downhill......it all takes its toll on your scorecard

Isn't that the truth. I plan on doing a lot better next time. I shot ALOT better last time...


That miss on the turkey still kills me. I don't know what happened for me to miss the thing that bad? Stuff happens. I could have been in the 280's if I would have made a good shot there.


With practice, I'll get there.

We also shot it during colder weather than they did too. We started 3 hours earlier than most.

How do you get an X with a shot like that?

This is a big NO NO at a sanctioned shoot. Vitals/scoring is never to be blocked like that.

I was standing a little left of the stake too. It was a close shot though.

NOTHING between you and the 10 ring. Nothing.

Now....shoot a "little" left......and that's another story.

We had some worse than this.....but none blocking the vitals. We had a bear on No. 27 or 28 in the afternoon that was worse for Aaron and I as RH'ers. I have NO IDEA how Aaron's arrow got where it did without drawing wood.

I believe he has those arrows, that are capable of going around trees.


Jeff, how many points do you think we would have left out there if we were shooting skinny shafts?
