RE: Bowtech staff.....octane rest ? Hostage Why?
The Hostage? The Hostage Pro? Both nice rests, and actually it's all about options. No doubt the Pro has some nice features. To some it will be worth the $ to others not. Applaude Bowtech for giving you a choice. It is yours to make;)
As far as dropways and other accessories who knows what may be in the future?[8D] Dan |
RE: Bowtech staff.....octane rest ? Hostage Why?
ORIGINAL: WesternMdHardwoods Wash... I am not a fan of fully capture style rests. They IMO are a thing of the past, the concept of a dropaway seems much more sensible. I also, as others have stated dont see how the bristles will hold up after say a good season of shots?? Once again though... I have not seen nor shot of course the hostage so I do not know how it will do,but that is why i am not a fan of the rest! |

Whitetail~~ I would say that the bristles would wear on the WB just as well as on the new hostage! I could be and probably am completely wrong? One thing I do know for sure I currently still shoot a prong style rest[:-]with the protective plastic covers on the prongs and it is nothing for me to change them before every season???? |
RE: Bowtech staff.....octane rest ? Hostage Why?
Just thought of another question............ So when do you think we will see the octane line of sights on the market??
