That must be an awesome thing to see from a stand. It would be tough to do what you listed Rob. I do not know if I could keep my mouth shut. BY the way I never thought I would be mentioned in the same thread or breath as it relates to the next typical world record.....that felt good. Thanks Rob.

Your welcome Frank,;) Yours is such a great animal and referencing the bases on your buck gives the idea of the greatness.:D

Should be an interesting year guys. So who is already counting down to season opener? :)

There's a World Record in Alberta, I'm sure. Just ask Wane Zaft.;)

If there is one out there, it will be more luck than skill if it is taken. I just hope the luck is with me when he walks by in November, in Illinois, with my buddy Rob in the next tree videoing it all...LOL

Of course there's a world record out there walking around. Why wouldn't there be? There will always be a bigger one out there, thats why we do what we do, most anyway. As far as where it comes from, thats another story, but it could be anywhere that has good feed and genetics. Probably some "managed" farm somewhere in the mid-west. But, there's always that un-hunted piece of public land thats a little too thick, and a little too far.

Just start up our own scoring method. There is enough people on here it make it a recognized scoring system through out.

I think a world record could come from any state with whitetails, the midwest in general is a good bet. I have a couple on video from my area here in Missouri that are contenders. It seems there is always a sticker point or drop tine that will knock a buck out. I am after one now "next season" that if he stays clean would surpass 220, I have shown the photo's to many B@C score takers that agreed. I'm going to sit on him like a hen on eggs next fall. I did take a 205 but he was a 9 point and that knocked him out. Seems when a Buck gets 200 or so, trash and stickers are to common. I like Gross score and net just is soooooo tough. !!!
