I've invested enough money in my wedding so far that I could've had a nice down payment on a piece of hunting ground, and I'm not even halway there yet! :D
Ahhhh...the joys of getting married at 39. We had 8 people at our wedding......including us and the preacher.;)

Let's see......they get to tax the $$ they're giving us back via income tax returns we file in '08. Just about everything purchased will require us to pay taxes on those goods as well.

Plus....the money's gotta come from somewhere.....so we're likely being charged higher taxes in other areas to cover the costs. Well.....some are, anyways.

And MOHO......I went to the mall with Lisa on Sunday and we picked out several butt floss's on sale@ VS for $2.99/EA. 1/2 price....and I get the ones I want!:)

It just doesnt make sense to me that that the govt is sending everyone checks, leaving it in the general publics hands to make good decisions, you know how many will spend it gambling or on other stupid crap? If I understand it, the goal is to help spur the economy AND help people with tight money issues.

Why dont they save this money and instead put it intoreducing gas prices for a few months or reduce the cost of other necessities that will affect everyone in a good way?
Actually, MN, although saving the money would be a great idea, the point is that they will SPEND the money thus spurring the economy. If they don't spend the money, it doesn't do much for the economy. So, go buy your bows (or guns, or other hunting gear), guys!!

Well I have a Double Bull Dark Horse blind on order. I also want to buy some new clothes from Scent Blocker, their new outfit is the bomb even if it had no carbon. I also have an Airborne 101 and 82 on order. $600 won't go near far enough:(but it will be nice:D

I also got engaged on this past Christmas Eve. Between buying a ring and buying a house,(which I am in the process of moving into)most of it will be going towards paying off some bills. I might keep a little stash for a couple items that I have been wanting.[:-]

This guy will be using his refund toward an all-inclusive Julyvacation to the Dominican Republic with the wife and some friends. I plan on playing volleyball with people who don't even speak English, sucking down dozens of El Presidente beers, consumingPina Colada by the gallonand admiring all the topless european chicks scattered around on the beach.

That's just how I roll.

If I have a few extra dollars floating around - I might do another Marlin/Dorado trip, too.
