What is the toughest, sharpest, deadliest, best shooting, best blood trail making broadhead on the market today? A real killer, that makes you say "OMG look at the hole", "look at the blood trail". Come on guys what are some killer broadheads...

The Rage head has a COC blade at the point.....and the blades deploy so that the entrance hole is as large as the exit. I've actually found the entrance holes to be QUITE larger than the exit holes....if the animal is quartering ANY. Quartering a LOT....and the hole is absolutely massive (Sometimes 5-6").
I'm more of a Cut On Contact Broadhead person.

I posted back in November that I had used the Rage on two deer and did not get a complete pass through on either one (however one was partial)and that I would stick with my Muzzy 3 blade.
I received a lot of responses that basically said either I was biased, uninformed, or had a poor set up.
Well, I certainly wasn't biased or uninformed or I would have never tried them in the first place. My appeal to use them was due the great blood trail I heard they left. But as we all know, a good blood trail starts with a complete pass through.
So I checked my bow set up and made sure I was tuned properly. Everything was okay, but I was only producing about 60# KE, as I reduce my bow poundageafter elkseason. But all info I had indicated that 60#KE was more than sufficient.
So being open minded, I shot a third deer with the Rage, with the results being another partial pass through.
In fairness, it was not too good a shot as it was a livershot. Because it was not a complete pass through, I did not pick up the blood trail for about 175 yards, but once I did, I couldn't believe the amount of blood for the next 100 or so yards where I found my deer.
While I think I would have had a better start of trailing with a complete pass through with a fixed, I doubt I would have had this good of a blood trail and it would have been a much more difficult trailing job, so the Rage probably paid off even on a partial pass through in this incident.
It is also noteworthy that I have shot other deer both before and after these instances with the exact same set up and got all complete pass thoughs with the Muzzy 3 blade.
Maybe it takes more than 61#KE toconsistently get a pass through, maybe it has to do with the size of the deer as all three of mine were pretty big, maybe it is all me, I don't know.
So I am still a little suspect at least for my situation, although still open minded due to all the success stories I have heard from other hunters. I plan on trying the Rage on a limited basis again this fall, but with an increase in KE before doing so.
My comfort zone today still rests with the Muzzy 3 blade fixed.

I like Two.
Rage 2 blade's are nasty! i killed my deer with one and plan on using them again next year.
And my next choice is gonna be the G5 Striker, they are the sharpest blades ive ever felt and fly great, i have 4 heads to practice with and two brand new packs waiting on next season.

The deer I got with the 2-blade Rage wasn't a complete pass thru either but the entry hole was huge, the far side hit near the leg/shoulder hence no pass thru. The blood trail was there but sparse dueto the lack of a low exit hole. I must say that the meat on the far shoulder was ruined, it looked like one big hematoma(bloody mess)
