I was out on a hunt this year, when I came back home my dad said that we had a nice 8 pt on our door steps. I liveone street away from a forrest preserve an we get deer in out back yard all the time. I'm thinking of putting up a trail camera to get some pics, they usally come at night. Too bad I probably can't shoot them, should check the village ordinance.

I do have a similar story, but I don't have the pic...A couple of years ago I was hunting a friend's farm. He has us park up by the house and walk out to the hunting area (about 3/4 of a mile). Needless to say, we come back skunked - didn't see a thing, and he has pictures of six deer standing next to my pick up truck.

Was there a pile of corn next to the truck?

If I walked home after hunting and saw a Buck on my back porch it wouldn't take me very long to sneak around the side of the house with my Bow in hand and take a Give-me shot!
