RE: Broadheads for Elk Hunting

In my opinion i have heard that the magnus is the best cut on contact broadhead i would use the 125 grain for elk.

GOOD LUCK!!

The bigger they are the bigger the harder fall.

Alot of good suggestions. Personally I use Magnus 125 2 blades for all my hunting. Though I haven't shot an elk with them (yet), I would have no hesitation using them. I know they would perform very well. Regardless of the head you choose, a well tuned bow and shot placement are the key....not so much the head.

Rocky Mountain 3 Blade Razors 125gr. since PaPa Barrie put them on the market in 70s. Deer, Elk, Caribou, Black Bear have succumbed with a few more. Can't see changing a good thing thou I do check assorted heads out every year. When it comes huntin time-it's the Rocky Mountain-not bad to the bone-they go thru it!!!!

always thankful
