Hey Minnesota, Take It Back!
 

When I got up at 4:30 this morning, it was zero degrees outside. They are forecasting a high of 5 degrees with windchills at -20 to -30 degrees. Tonight it is supposed to drop to a -2 degrees.

This is normal weather for Minnnesota, not southern Iowa. I am not very happy that Minnesota sent their cold down here and I want all you Minnesotans or Minnewegians, whichever you prefer, to come and take this crap back! Oofta! That's too cold for dem dere old Iowegians don't ya know!

Roger that! It's around 5 here this morning, with a negative 10-15 wind chill......I'm gettin too old for this kind of cold....:eek:

She's a cold one this morning! -15 below this morning AF Hunter, sorry about the cold temps were giving ya!! My wood stove is eating wood up like you wouldn't believe.

I wish I had a wood stove! I will when I build my man cave. Right now I have to keep refilling the kerosene heater in the garage (which presently is also my testosterone room). Just got back from town where I spent $100 on 26 gallons of kerosene.

Had some of that dern chili last night. It was quite a bit spicier when I passed it back out this morning! lol I had it with some garlic cheese bread last night and was quite pleased with the overall dinner. My wife, who has a cast iron stomach, added jalepenos to the chili last night to make it warm enough for her.

Yep. I start my terminal leave in May with a retirement date of July 1st. Going out after 33 years of service. Adjusting to civilian life I have heard is really difficult. Push comes to shove if I have trouble adjusting, I'll just become a recluse and tell the world to bugger off! lol

Alright, MN ain't listening. Woke up yesterday to a frigid morning again. This morning another fine artic sunrise. It's colder than the ring around a polar bears arse right now! So either you MN's or Canadians get down here and get your lousy weather and TAKE IT BACK! My arthritis is killing me with these temps. I hate to make threats, but if the cold weather aint gone soon, I'm gonna start sending hog confinement facilities up there and see how you like that!
