RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
You better have a flame proof suit on if you go on there and post a question without doing a search first. Some big time attitudes there also. But they do have an aged checked forum called "The Mutanville Bar" which has some nice photos!!!!

RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
I'm archery talk, but I have to choose my words carefully. I don't even DARE go into the main forum. Just the bowhunting forum and hunting rights forum...
One time I mentioned that besides shooting my Reflex Highlander, I also pick up my Savage .308 when firearm season comes in. Man it wasn't pretty....[&o] I almost ended up like: ![]() |
RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
I like both!!
Archerytalk for sure if I want info on new products, whats hot and whats not. Huntingnet for the foodplot info forsure and the hunting contest here is run top notch. Seems to be a little more clickie over here though.... sometimes it seems if your not in the click people wont answer stuff or post on you thread. Meanwhile every gmmat thread goes 20 pages!!:) |
RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
AT has alot of good info at times and great classifieds but you do have to have pretty thick skin sometimes too. I was allowed back on and I enjoy it more now. I am careful about what I read though.

RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
My 2 cents:
I do use the classifieds there as well as here. Too many AT posts are concerned with what bows, broadheads, and other equipment the paid celebs use, like its going to make a difference in your hunting success?[&:] More honest info. here overall IMO. More fun here. I can really get PO'ed over there so I generally only visit the classifieds there. |
RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
AT is one I can live without!!! Even when your trying to be serious you get flamed over there.:( It's about the only one I will never go back to!! Walt

RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
I use the classifieds on AT to sell misc. stuff.
There are a couple good tech guys there. Here too , of course. I'll check reviews and don't post much at all. There's way too many on AT and youdo get pounded if you have a different opinion. And after all, we have our buddyGMMAT. I like it here better. |
RE: Archery Talk vs HuntingNet?
visted a couple times but like it here much better
