Default Peta tax exempt petition...

I posted this over on AT as well. It is a petition to revoke PETA's tax exempt status with the IRS and I think every hunter whether they be bow, gun, dog or whatever needs to sign this petition.

http://www.petitiononline.com/rvkpta...tion-sign.html

I think this would be a great first step in fighting back against one of the worst anti-hunting groups in the world.

Maybe people wouldn't be so "Anti-Hunting" were it not for boneheads like this guy.

That kinda stuff bothers people.

So instead of signing petitions onlineand whining about the evils ofPETA - how's about recognizing that "hunters" need to be a little "Anti-Hunting" sometimes, too... Just to protect our OWN interests.

Tax exempt or not - as long as crap like this is going on, there will always be massive public support for any group thataims to curb this kind of activity.

There's some food for thought, eh?

First,I should point out that my statements were in no way whining! [:@]Second, I wouldn't disagree that sometimes there are hunters, as well as other people, that make stupid decisions that make all of us look bad in the public eye but that is not the point of this post.

Anything we can do to make it more difficult for PETA to take away our right to hunt would be a step in the right direction.

pinetag, that petition is a huge joke, when it started out I bought in to it and signed up to dozens of hunting forums trying to get this petition out there. I think that it increased several thousand signatures by the time I was done. This was all probablly 4 years ago if not more... that petition is going nowhere.

OK, well I wasn't sure if it was old so I thought posting it couldn't hurt anything. Seems like a good idea anyway.
