1.5's at Dan's place in NY:
They tend to be bigger in body at Dan's place, but smaller in rack size as compared to my place in PA.

This is a pretty typical 1.5 year old for my area. Most of the 1.5 y.o's have a 6-8 point rack and they all pretty much have the same shape/look. Decent main beams but short tines and little mass.

Here are the 1.5's that I got on camera this year.
And a good example of how much they can grow in a couple years, especially body size.
One comment I would make on the subject is that a good or bad year (wet year, drought, etc.) can have as much influence on the size of the deer's antlers as anything. Thiswas a great spring and summer here, if we continue with things as things are this year all our 1.5's may be spikes next year.
