At what age would you (the HNI Hunter) say that a buck gains "mature" status?

When you speak of a buck being "mature".....how old does he need to be before you give him this due?

I am going to say they start to become mature at 3 1/2 and in my area(high pressure)that is considered mature.

In an area where deer don't get educated nearly as fast as my area,4 1/2 to 5 1/2 might be considered mature.

Technically 5.5 years old is mature. Very few make it though in most places.

4.5 is mature enough for me to kill bow.

3.5 with rifle.

Tony, they just state that so they can justify shooting the 3.5s when they have big racks so it doesnt discredit their QDM...

I voted 4.5 minimum

Even though biologically I would lean to the 4.5 end, where I hunt a 3.5 is about as mature as one can find.
