lol i think you guys are getting the impression that i have trouble getting myself to go
i go every chance i get, just to get out in the woods i think is a privalege that the U.S. and Canada have that a lot of countries do not.
i love watching all the wildlife, and knowing that any second i could see that world class buck, no matter where im hunting.
the challenge of it is a big reason i love bowhunting, and just having a deer that close is a rare oppurtunity that gets me shakin

The only thing that really discourages me is whenthe health issues I've been struggling with keep me out of the woods.[:'(]

Occasionally I get discouraged when I'm able to be out there and things are slow, but, If I'm away from the woods for more than a day when it's hunting season, the itch comes right back!

What keeps me going is that I love every aspect of it! The physical side the mental side,the beauty of the woods,finding game,figuring them out,the challenge,all of it.

the fact that i can can't sleep the day before opening day or the sec the alarm clock goes off Im outta bed and in the truck almost before the coffee is even finished ...the fact I used to play hookie in high school and told mom i was heading to school and just ended up driving down the road and jumped out if the truck and up to the stand i went....im not sure what the reasoning or answer is to all of that but i think it's ..love

Mr. Java was on the verge of letting it all go.... Then , I came into his life and went in head first. I love bowhunting.

We set up a new stand for me to finish off winter bow. I have2 weeks to try and get myself a buck... If not.. I have next year...

EXACTLY quitters go to REHAB. No joking aside it can become very boring but what drives me is the pictures I get in the offseason of nice bucks!

What keeps me going? I live in Iowa.;) Seriously though, even on a bad day deer sighting wise, I still get just as much enjoyment out of being outdoors than if a see a bunch of bucks. It's the "you never know whats coming around the bend" apsect that makes it fun.
