20-30-40. I would think that a 5 pin would be a little shallow. For me anyway. I always thought about using a 10 but havent done it. Want to keep it simple.

Top pin is 0-30, second is 40 and third is 50. Im planning on getting the G5 Optix XR sight when it comes out. 3 fixed pins, 0-30 for the top, 40 for the second and 50 for the third but it also has a floating precision adjustable fourth pin for extended ranges past 50.

I shoot a single pin slider for hunting, but have yardages marked 20-70, increments of 10.

I'm in process of switching it over for 3D, in which case I'll have 5 fixed pins, 22, 27, 32, 37, and 42 yards.

I could never set 5 yard pin gaps, there'd be no gap. What do you do on a 50 yard target?

Won't be any 50 yard targets. I THINK 38 is as far as they go, but I'm not sure on that....

I know the gap is going to be tricky, so I'm using .010 pins and I'm using a triple track sight, at least I'm pretty sure it is...It's a double for sure. I've been pm'ing Matt/PA, and I took his recent thread to heart.....

The pin gap is EXACTLY why I use a single pin slider for hunting. Less mess and confusion, it's going to take some getting used to that's for sure.

If you're going to be shooting 320fps mobow. There's no way you can get the 5yd increments.

How do you mark your slider? I have a single pin but i feel like it is hard to accurately place in the same spot when i wanna shoot at 20 or 30 etc.
