Animals are just like people!

I don't know about you guys, but if I had a friend that kept pooping on my dining room floor, peeing in the corners, humping my leg and licking his nuts in front of the whole family - he wouldn't be my friend for long.

That's the problem with animal rights activists.

They insist that animals arejust like little furrypeople - but something tells me that their human friends don't crap all over the floor and eat their own poo. They have this bizarro-world double-standard with animals: The dog pees all over the house, he gets a pass, because "he's just a dog." But if somebody wants to open dog season, they throw a huge temper tantrum because "dogs are just like people."

In a really weird way, these people amuse me. Especially the crazy cat ladies. It never ceases to amaze me how many mentally-challenged animal zealots make the evening news because they "saved"four dozendogs from the shelter, just to bring themback to their flea-infested trailerand let them starve halfway to death and live knee-deep intheir own feces.

Then, some poor schmuck from Animal Control has to go over there with a damn gasmaskand pepper sprayand wade through that disgusting mess to retrieve all48 animals and take them back to the shelter where they can be cleaned up and actually treated semi-humanely.

Mohammed shot them where humans are in numbers and presumably secure: Home Depot, gas stations, school, etc. Mohammed shot humans when they ran in fear for their lives. And Mohammed relished in the imagined glory of controlling the destiny of others and filling their hearts with horror. No act has such finality as killing another being. And gloating over such a stunt makes it all the sicker.
In the case of Mohammed, humans did not quietly take the path of least conflict, as have the bear and deer. Mohammed is in jail awaiting execution
This is one thing I will NEVER understand. How any animal rights activist can compare mass murderers, and hunters.

I was going to respond to it, but I didn't want to take the time to register.

This guy is obviously an idiot. For one thing piebald deer are not a "rare breed" of deer. They are a genetic defect, a freak thing, not a breed of animal that can can be hunted to extinction. If we didn't kill it it would be taken out by natural selection and nature anyway.

And the lady that said; "instead of golorifying the killing of God's creatures." If you are going to take the religion stand on this one remember that they are God's creatures that he put here for US to use and do what we wish with them. They are actually OUR creatures. They are in no way equal to us according to the bible. At least not the way I read it anyway.

Paul, you are EXACTLY right! They were created for our usage .... to clothe us, when Adam and Eve sinned, God killed animals to clothe them, to provide a sacrifice to put off sin, and to feed us ......

I actually don't think of hunting as a "sport" like golf or bowling.

Hunting is moreof a way of life to me and is much bigger than any game.

Another clusless hugger. The guy obviously has his pantyhose on too tight. With a name like "Bruce Peters" I'd bet the last time he 'close'to a woman was when he fell out of hismomma....and most likely headfirst on to the floor by the way his brain seems to be functioning!

Ok I have to put my two cents worth in.

First Piebald deer in northern VA are not that rare. I took a picture of about 40 of them standing on a golf course near Leesburg, VA. I had been hearing about the "ghost deer" from the security guards at work. Then one day I say them. I'm not exaggerating when I say 40 piebald deer. I know 40 minutes away in Charles Town, WV there is a public hunting area. I saw several there too to include a nice buck.

Second I don't believe piebald deer are a species of their own. They are a genetic freak for lake of better terms. They lack the pigment in their skin to produce the color. Just like the ones that look black. Not another species but just an oddity in the same species.

Third[/i][/b] This guy has noproblem driving inhis car living in his home somewhere animals used to live. He doesn't take in to account how many human lives and property is spared because hunters take the animals they have killed. Northern VA and MD are practically overrun in places by deer. Deer strikes are common on the road... Yet we continue to drive. This guy believes the only way an animal can die is by human hands. If we didn't kill them they'd all livepeacefully in the forest with bambi. Turn the TV off man and actually go out somewhere there are predators and prey. Not in the nice world you get to live in because hunters have killed them so you could build your pretty little world. Stop watching cartoons that make them out to be super peacefully creatures that wouldn't harm anything.

The reality, as you all know isthe real wild animals are much more aggressive. They kill to live.He speaks of survival instincts but I doubt he'd survive a dayor two in a real wild place. I'd love to see this guy in AKwatching wolfs take down an animal. They eat on it sometimes while they are still alive. Or Africa.

I got an idea lets allstop hunting for a few years and reintroduce all the predators around all these people and see how long we have them complaining about how evil hunting is. I bet pretty quickly we won't have anyone to complain.

I wonder if he'd be saying this if his pure-breed fluffy pet had been ripped apart by a mountain lion.

Ok I'm done... Sorry I know you all know this but these people tic me off. [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

In Acts 10:13 an angel comes to Peter in a vision and opens a sheet with birds and animmals in it and commands Peter to "Rise, Kill, and Eat." So God commands us to hunt his creatures and use them as food.

I'm no expert.....but I've heard that piebald color phase in whitetails occurs about 1/1000.

If you saw 40 in one spot......that's one hell of a coincidence.

I'll have to look for my pics. Unfortunatly it was with an old!!!! digital and was about 60 70 yards from the deer. So mainly it looked white spots in the pic.

It wasn't like I only saw them once. After that I saw them about once a month. Just never with a better opertunity to take a pic. I'm sure they are still around there too.

If they were to survive and breed would it become a dominant genetic trait?

Well see we brought this one on ourselves by trying to be so PC. Hunting is NOT a sport. No one should call it a sport. It's what it is. We go into the outdoors to enjoy it and bring home some food. We don't do it for sport. We shouldn't be harvesting deer either. We kill them to eat. Tell it like it is because it won't matter to the antis what we call it. Sometimes we adopt these little buzz words to be less offensive and all it is is rediculous. We hunt to kill and eat. We prefer to get our meat ourselves and not from a grocery store or a pen raised critter..

No sir, that type of coloration is always a recessive trait and can only be expressed when two recessive traits are combined. By breeding one can not change one gene to be dominant over another BUT, if there are more recessive traits passed on the likelyhood ofproducing piebald deer could increase!:D

i think they should round those people up drop them off miles from any human contact give them a gun with shells and see how long they get tired of eating bug and tree bark before they start shooting wild game to eat, then ask them how they feel about it after that.

RE: Take a look at this GARBAGE!!!

Those types of articles make me sick, and the fact that probably 3/4 of the responses were anti-hunting just scares me. There weren't too many people on that message board defending hunting. I like the idea of not hunting for a few years and seeing how long it takes the government to come begging the hunters to thin out the herd. I'd be all for it if I didnt love hunting sooooo much. I'd bet even then the anti's would find something to complain about. I chuckled at one of the replies in particular. "It sickens me to be subjected to photos of dead animals when I read the newspaper over my morning cup of coffee." I bet she pampers her high horse. It could have only been funnier if she said something about eating bacon or ham or sausage for breakfast. I wonder what she thinks when/ifshe sees vehicle-killed animals on the roads, or what she would be saying if her car got totalled or God forbid somebody she knows got hurt in a deer-vehicle collision. Hunters help keep insurance costs down in areas where deer-vehicle collisions are common. this all kind of reminds me of the previews i've seen for the new Will Smith movie, "i am legend" with all the animals running all over the city. It would most likely come down to that if we stopped hunting. then instead of being subjected to photos of dead animals, it would photos of animal attacks on humans, and habitat loss is much more of a problem to any animals than hunting ever will be. I'm done ranting, stuff like this really grinds my gears.
