1st buck with my pistol.

Before Illinois opened up the regular gun (shotgun and muzzle loader) season to include pistols I had to take anterless only deer in the late (mid January) firearm season because that was the only time you were allowed to use them.

First time in 51 years of Bowhunting I did not hunt in Nov. during the rut or basically any hunting atall.
Wife was critically ill starting Sept. & is still battling a bone infection from a back operation & very ill.
No Bowhunting is a small price to pay for her to get well.
I hope everyone gets a 1st in 2008. Good Luck to all.
