Cool pics. Is that a home made ladder stand? Do you have any pics of it?
Here are 3 shots of one of the stands we use, use 16' 2x4s for ladder, then on top 4 8footers, these form the floor and seat rails.

bolt all of this together, then put it up against the tree, best way to do this is put a cross brace on the floor so you have something to lean up against the tree, you will have to figure out a way to fasten this down to the tree, either by using ropes to hold the stand to the tree from the backside, or a ladder on the back of the tree to fasten the stand down (maybe with a cross brace on the backside) or the way we do it, ride up in the bucket of tractor.

once you have the stand fastened down, work your way up by putting the ladder steps on.

I have done/helped put up probably close to 50 of these things.......plus of these, is a large platform, easy to sit in one of these things dawn to dusk, down side, heavy, hard to impossible to move, not that tall.

Its an 05 Cuddeback. Its current version is called the Expert. I think they go for $399.

There is nothing like hunting in the snow. I heard we might get some tonight.

What the hell is that white stuff all over the place? Wait, that is snow. I haven't seen snow, much less hunted in it, in a long time. We really freak out when it snows down here. It's been seven years since we got a decent snow down here. Nice pics BTW.
