Sounds a lot like the ozone machines used to eliminate odors in hotel rooms. We were promised a non-smoking room but upon arrival none were available. The management set up a thing that looked like a portable heater and said in an hour all would be ok. Well it was better but not like a non-smoking room. I'm sure an overnight exposure would have helped.
Another place I heard similar claims was a machine in hockey rinks designed to remove the odor from your equiptment. If anyone either plays hockey or has a kid who does you'll know this is indeed the acid test of whether a product works. We never did try the machine $10 for 20 min. but a friend said it didn't work when he tried it.
I'd like to see some independant testing done.
