RE: Preferred Drop Away Poll

The QAD rest is the best hunting drop away rest I've ever used. If I were serious into competition I'd use the Limb Driver, but the QAD is the best for hunting IMO.

Ripcord for me. Only thing I don't like about the limbdriver is that it is a specific fit for the big 3 manufacturers. I like using the same accessories from bow to bow.

Depends on the bow. I just love the Muzzy but they don't work worth a flip on the parallel limb bows. For the Guardian I went with the Limbdriver and like it a lot, but not as much as my Muzzy on the Darton.

Not so with the 07 Limb Driver Pro. There are only 2 models solid limb or split limb and you can buy the attachment pieces later if you switch bows that have different type of limbs on it.;)

I had issues with the QAD on my Bowtech due to cable tension problems (solved it with a WB) but it's by far the best rest I've ever had on my Hoyt.

Good to know, Rob. I'm going to revisit the drop away rests for hunting in 2008. Thx. Roskoe

Dan

Excellent news. I put them aside a while back because of that. I'll take a serious look at them if'n I go for a new bow this year.

Thanks
