a picture of their bowtech general, and one at full draw? This is my front running bow in my search, but without holding one yet, I'd kind of like to get a feel for the center pivot risor design - it almost looks kind of cumbersome.

I don't have a picture at full draw. If noone responds I'll take one. Here however is a picture of mine. Oh, at this bow is not cumbersome. Not in the least.

what kind of numbers are you getting out of it, Rob? It does look a lot smaller and less bulky when you have the quiver head to compare it to. And the draw weight is adjustable, right?

At 70 lbs, 29" draw my BC says 301. And yes, it's adjustable in poundage.

My arrow weighs (ACC) in at 381 grains. I'm getting 280 with a 28" draw speed mod. I'm going to play with a 28.5" mod to see as well. I also have more on the string than my Ally.

That's only 25fps slower than my Allegiance, same arrow but Ally is 28.5" draw with speed mods. There isn't an archer here that can shoot the difference in speed. Pin gap is the same.

Still haven't taken pics at full draw, I can if you wish but I found this gentleman with his at full draw.

The draw is very smooth with a slight roll over. I'm used to this type of draw after shooting all the hard cams from Hoyt. It's clear when she rolls over but I wouldn't term it as "harsh".

The shot is like a dream, the quietest and least shock bow I've ever shot.

Dude.... look... a picture won't do it justice. To put your mind at ease, when you draw it and shoot it the center pivot is far from cumbersome. It's just like any other bow as far as drawing etc. EXCEPT, it's quiet, feel so good and is fast. Go to a shop and shoot a Guardian or any of them and you'll see.

David is right, you have to shoot that Bow to believe it. It is better than any bowI have shot. I shot it at the same time as the guardian and the Marquis. It shoots better than the two of them. You will see more speed out of the other two, but like Rob said, it won't matter for pin gap. The General has got to be one of the smoothest bowsout there, it draws smooth and it is dead at the shot. To describe it in one word "AWESOME". If you have to travel just to shoot one, do it, you will not regret it.

thanks guys. I will be going to shoot it saturday. I shot spiral cams the past 4 years, so I'm looking for something softer to replace it with. I want to be able to shoot for many more years without shoulder pain.
