I am curious, are you saying it was a wierd morning because the does usually come to your grunt?

As mentioned the fawn bleat may work. If it were me, I'd move my stand over to where the deer were moving....

Golden Acorns my friend other wise known as corn. Dont grunt at the does. Being quiet will probaly be a better tactic.

A fawn bleat will sometimes work...I have gotten away from fawn bleats for some reason, but I have used them to pull in does during the late season. Try it out.
