Another "Guess the Score"
#71
I say this objectively with no intent to dimish Jeff's buck.I am surprised that the scoring is as high as it is.I would have guessed in the 90 inch range.
The bottom line is that it really doesn't matter, the excitement of the hunt and the effort that went into it and the satisfaction afterwords are all that matter!
I have said a number of times you really can't appreciate a rack unless you are either holding it or observing it very closely.

Guys, it's really difficult to score a rack via picture on a computer. Monitors are different, colors aren't the same....sometimes the rack is "stretched" or "shrunk", depending on the monitor.
I really think Scott was just asking questions to educate himself, I don't think he was questioning the score, just trying to learn.

I intended for this thread to be about a "for-fun" way to give some money to a charity.
That's it. Lisa and I scored the rack. It is what it is. I'll never post one in the forums, again (Guess this score). I see where it goes (with mine). I make no money or recieve NO accolades....if it were 120" or 90". It si what it is.
Peace. Merry Christmas.

Sorry man, I didn't question your score, just the weight.
Hint: If you pack them with sand ( like fish), you can get them to weigh whatever you want.
Now I'll question your score. Your mass measurements seem a bit high, no more than an inch per side though.
Did you use the smallest measurement at the correct place for taking the measurement?
Go check with Lisa and get back to me.[8D]

That's perfect. I'm not paranoid.
Merry Christmas.

Hey Jeff, I really like that buck. That is a great rack especially for North Carolina. I know in my area most people do not see deer like that. I am glad you got it and would be proud of a deer like that as well. I would have guessed 110" on it.
