My wife has a bunny suit , but I think it would be too cold to wear.

Seriously, I remember in history class in H.S. (way back when) Indians wearing animal skins while hgunting deer and buffalo. I think it could work in the right circumstances and down wind. if a deer will come close to a decoy , why not a deer costume.

Danny beat me to it.

I hear ya, Danny. That's like going to a bar with a shirt on that reads....

I LIVE IN MY FOLKS' BASEMENT

Kinda shooting yourself in the foot, huh?

OK, this one literally did make me LOL, "I also wonder if dressing as machinery or farm equipment would work? " It's a good thing today is my last day at this job.

Not that it's a bad idea, but I'm just wondering wear you could get a John Deere Combine costume.

As long as they didnt smell you, you would be ok.

Bring to mind a line in Jeremiah Johnson; "An elk dont know how many legs a horse has got".

I'm guessing it would also be pretty easy to disguise ones self as a small tractor.

I guess it depends on how rural an area and which state you live in.......on how easy or difficult it would be to get someone to ride you to where the deer were.[&:]

I'll walk, thank you! It's JUST a deer!

I know a kid that takes a rifle with him while he is striping cotton. When he sees a deer, he stops and shots it. He has taggedall his deer while drilling wheat or stripping cotton.
